AAC Conductor (All Aluminium Conductors) is also known as aluminium stranded conductor. We manufacture this conductor from electrolytically refined aluminium with the purity of minimum 99% aluminium. The spacing between All Aluminium Conductors is short and their supports are close. These aluminium conductors are made up of one or more aluminium wires strands depending on their usage. These conductors are mainly used in urban areas for electricity transfer. Apart from that, these conductors are also extensively used in coastal area because of their corrosion resistance properties. AAC CONDUCTOR(ASTM B 231, BS 215-1, DIN48201, IEC 61089)
The structure of an AAC (All-Aluminum Conductor) hard drawn aluminum conductor as per EN 60889 Type AL1 according to BS 215. And consists of multiple concentric layers of aluminum strands. The outermost layer comprises the largest diameter strands, and the innermost layer consists of the smallest diameter strands.
The wires in each layer are helically twisted together in a direction opposite to the direction of twist of the adjacent layer. This counter-twisting helps to prevent the conductor from unraveling and provides the conductor with strength and flexibility.
The overall structure of an AAC conductor can vary depending on the application and the desired properties of the conductor. For example, some AAC conductors are designed with a central wire for added strength, while others are designed with a compact stranding pattern for increased conductivity and reduced wind resistance.
All aluminum conductors meets or exceeds the following standards: IEC61089, BS215 part1, DIN48201 part5, ASTM B231, BS EN50182, Chinese Standard GB/T1179-2008, We can also manufacture AAC according to customer's special requirements.
