Application:
Triplex overhead aluminum cable branch cables are commonly used for overhead power lines and service lines of 0.6/1kV, 6/10kV and below, and are usually used to transmit power from utility poles to residential or commercial buildings. Here are some applications of triplex overhead service drop cable:
Residential power delivery/Commercial power delivery/Street lighting/Temporary power supply

Construction:
3 Cores consisting of standard Concentric strand or compressed 1350-H19 conductor,polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene insulation,concentric strand AAC, ACSR or 6201 alloy neutral messenger.

Conductors:
The first step in constructing triplex overhead service drop cable is stranding the individual conductors together. The conductors are twisted together to form a stranded cable, which is stronger and more flexible than a single solid conductor.

Insulation:
The main function of the cable insulation layer is to insulate the conductors in the cable from the surrounding environment or from adjacent conductors. Insulation is usually made of materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
